UAAP players react on Twitter to new high school residency rule

UAAP basketball players took to Twitter to criticize the league's new residency rule for UAAP high school students looking to enroll in a different university after graduation. [Related: Kiefer Ravena hits out at new UAAP residency rules for HS grads] Reportedly, under the new rule, an incoming freshman who wishes to enroll at a UAAP university which is different from the partner institution of his UAAP high school would have to sit out two years, up from one year under the rule's previous incarnation. But aside from criticizing the rule change, the players also decided to have some fun, creating the hashtag #NewUAAPRule to mark their proposed changes. - Job B. De Leon / AMD, GMA News
