Seconds before the De La Salle University Lady Spikers took the floor at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, DLSU head coach Ramil de Jesus disclosed his team's formula for gaining their second three-peat.

"Yung mga mistakes nung game one, i-minimize yung mga errors," said de Jesus, who steered his team from two sets down to win game one in a five-set thriller.

"Sabi ko sa kanila, igihan yung laro tapos i-pressure yung kalaban. Kailangan yung attitude sa loob," added the La Salle mentor, who saw the leadership of team captain Abi Marano settle down the squad to win the last three sets of the first finals game.

Now one win away from another championship, the ever-serious de Jesus wants his team to focus on improving from what he described as his team's ugliest game yet:

"Kasi last Saturday, yun na yung worst game ng La Salle. Forty eight unforced errors, nagawang manalo. Ibig sabihin, pag le-less pa yung errors mas kayang manalo." - AMD, GMA News
