The undefeated Far Eastern University Tamaraws square off against the team that led to their removal from the Final Four last season, the National University Bulldogs, Wednesday at the MOA Arena.

FEU thought they had won on an RR Garcia buzzer-beating layup during their round two encounter, but they were forced into a replay, which NU won. They were then forced into a playoff for the last Final Four berth, which they lost, bouncing them from the postseason.

This season though, they're looking to better their 4-0 start and earn a small measure of revenge against their tormentors from last season, with guard Terrence Romeo leading the charge. The former Rookie of the Year has been on an astounding tear, with 22.3 points and 5.3 assists, both UAAP-leading numbers, and it's likely he'll need to go toe-to-toe in terms of scoring against Bobby Ray Parks.

The reigning back-to-back MVP Parks has been splendid as well though, with 17.8 points and 4.8 assists, third in the UAAP in both categories. But Parks gets a big lift from having a high-performance center playing alongside him in Emmanuel Mbe, who's also in the top-10 in points (16.0, 7th) and rebounds (12.3, 2nd).

As good as they've been offensively though, NU's calling card this season has been their defense, allowing the fewest points (63.0) and points in the paint (26.5), along with a stingy 36.0 field goal percentage, also tops in the league. If they can get Romeo and/or RR Garcia into a poor shooting night, they could run away with this one and inflict the first loss on FEU.

Game starts at 4pm.
