The University of the East Red Warriors caught a small break, when the UAAP technical committee announced Friday that it was reducing the length of guard Lord Casajeros' suspension by half to a single game.

Casajeros had been suspended on Tuesday, for his "unsportsmanlike" actions towards FEU guard Terrence Romeo, in their double-overtime loss last Sunday.
However, UE's other suspended player, starting center Charles Mammie, will still have to sit out a two-game ban, as the UAAP upheld that punishment.
Casajeros norms 6.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. He will be available for their game next Wednesday versus the DLSU Green Archers, but he and Mammie will have to sit out Saturday's match against the NU Bulldogs. - AMD, GMA News
