UAAP: Lady Eagle Valdez brings home hat-trick of titles including MVP

Ateneo Lady Eagle Alyssa Valdez brought home three awards, namely MVP, best scorer and best server, in the UAAP women's volleyball tournament awards, prior to the start of game two of the UAAP volleyball Finals.

Teammate Denden Lazaro didn't do so bad as well, taking home the Best Attacker and Best Digger prizes.

The NU Lady Bulldogs' Santiago sisters each took home one prize. Dindin Santiago was named Best Attacker, while sister Jaja Santiago was Rookie of the Year. Unfortunately, both were not on hand to receive the prizes due to the passing of their father.

Ateneo's Finals opponents, the DLSU Lady Spikers, saw Kim Fajardo named Best Setter, while UP Lady Maroon Katherine Bersola, was named Best Blocker. - AMD, GMA News
