V-League: UST forges three-way tie in Group B after keeping Perpetual Help winless

The UST Golden Tigresses forged a three-way tie at the top of Group B, after sweeping the NCAA champions University of Perpetual Help Lady Altas, 25-15 25-17 25-17, Tuesday at the FilOil Flying V Arena, in the Shakey’s V-League Season 11-1st Conference.
UST, NU and Davao all have 4-1 records, while Perpetual Help bows out at 0-5 in Group B.
The match wrapped up in a little over an hour, as the Lady Altas failed to crack more than 18 points in each of the sets.
Guest player Ennajie Laure led UST with 11 points, while Pam Lastimosa scored 10, both tallying 10 spikes.
Lady Altas guest player Abigael Praca also scored 11, but her side’s next top-scorer was Jamela Suyat with just six markers.
UST dominated the spikes column with a 41-23 difference. They also got six service aces to none by the Lady Altas. - AMD, GMA News
