V-League: Dindin Santiago named MVP, Best Server

National University Lady Bulldog Dindin Santiago was a large reason for her team’s return to the Finals to defend their Shakey’s V-League 1st Conference title, and her hard work was recognized on Sunday when she was named conference MVP.

Santiago also got the Best Server award for scoring the most times off services aces.

NU’s opponents in the Finals, the FEU Lady Tams, was also represented, with two of their players coming home with awards.

FEU’s Christine Agno was named Best Receiver, while Yna Pap was named Best Setter.

Rounding out the awardees were Adamson’s Shiela Pineda (Most Improved) and Pau Soriano (Best Attacker), while UST players EJ Laure (Best Scorer) and Marivic Meneses (Best Blocker) also were feted. - AMD, GMA News
