The DLSU Green Archers finally snapped their three-game losing streak against the FEU Tamaraws, earning a 94-73 win on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

With the win, La Salle now forces a do-or-die game against FEU for the right to play either Ateneo or NU in the finals.

La Salle found success in the perimeter early in the game, going up 11-5 after an Almond Vosotros trey. The Archers did not let up in the final three minutes, as Sargent drilled three triples while Norbert Torres scored inside for a 22-11 edge. Mac Belo ended the period with his own long bomb to trim the lead, 22-14.

DLSU stretched the lead to 14 after back to back hits by Norbert Torres opened up the second. FEU responded with an 8-0 swing, though, as Belo and Mike Tolomia hit consecutive threes after an Anthony Hargrove slam. Scoring slowed down in the final four minutes, as Belo strung four together to cut the lead to four. Jeron Teng connected from deep to bump the lead back up to seven heading into the halftime break, 34-27.

Vosotros found his range in the third, while Teng had success with drives to the basket. With FEU in penalty for most of the latter part of the third period, the Archers collected charities for a 63-47 lead heading into the fourth.

The Archers refused to let up in the fourth, matching FEU shot for shot. A 7-0 swing at the three-minute mark made it a 23-point game for La Salle.
