PBL: Whoppers outpace Road Kings, 73-68

The Burger King Whoppers banked on their bench to post a 73-68 win over Toyota Balintawak Road Kings in the PBL Unity Cup quarterfinals Tuesday at the Olivarez Sports Center in Parañaque City. J.R. Aquino, Jerby del Rosario, and Jim Viray combined for a 10-0 bomb to post a 68-59 lead with 3:40 left in the game that keyed the Whoppers' victory, forcing a winner-take-all game on Thursday for the right to enter the semifinals. "This is just the first step.
