WARSAW, Poland - Polish teenager Agnieszka Radwanska beat former French Open champion Anastasia Myskina of Russia 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 Tuesday in her debut on the main WTA Tour to advance to the second round of the J&S Cup. A wild-card entry, the 312th-ranked Radwanska squandered a 4-1 lead in the final set, allowing the 12th-ranked Myskina to even the match at 4-4, but then won the final two games for her first victory over anyone in the top 100. The 17-year-old Radwanska hit a forehand winner down the line to seal the match. "The win was a huge surprise for me," said Radwanska, who next plays Klara Koukalova of the Czech Republic. "She's one of the world's top players and I didn't expect that I could win this match — but I'm very happy that I did." Also, 16th-ranked Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia edged Israel's Anna Smashnova 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 in a match lasting 2 hours, 37 minutes, and fifth-seeded Francesca Schiavone of Italy beat Finland's Emma Laine 6-0, 6-1. "I was just really glad how I stuck in there and kept fighting for every point," Hantuchova said. "That's what makes the difference for me, now being able to win these matches." The tournament's 2004 champion, Venus Williams, makes her first tour appearance since the Australian Open on Wednesday, playing Urszula Radwanska, the sister of Agnieszka.
