NU Pep Squad wins 2016 UAAP Cheerdance Competition 

Defending champion National University Pep Squad won the UAAP Season 79 Cheerdance Competition held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.

NU won with an overall score of 711 followed by the Far Eastern University Cheering Squad with 658.5 and the Adamson Pep Squad with 655 points.

The NU Pep Squad, which now has four titles in the UAAP cheerdance competition, dominated the other teams in almost all categories including in tumbling, stunts, pyramids and dance.

The NU Pep Squad impressed the judges with its "futuristic" performance. —ALG, GMA News
