Momoland to perform in UAAP 81 opening

Yes, you read it right.

It seems like the country can't get enough of the girl group behind the "Bboom Bboom" dance craze.

The Korean girl group will perform in the opening ceremonies of Season 81 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) on September 8.

The announcement was made by the Mall of Asia Arena, the venue of the UAAP 81 opening, on Sunday morning.

According to MOA Arena, details for ticket selling will be revealed soon.

After the opening ceremonies, the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons will face the University of the East Red Warriors to open the men's basketball tourney, followed by National University Bulldogs against Adamson University Soaring Falcons.

National University is the host school for UAAP Season 81.
