RP briefly in 5th but drops to 6th at SEA Games with 33 gold medals

The Philippines dropped back to sixth, after a brief return to fifth, as of 5:31 p.m. Wednesday at the 24th Southeast Asian Games being held in Thailand. The Filipino athletes have so far reaped 33 gold, 51 silver, and 76 bronze medals for a total of 160. Team Philippines made four of the 33 gold medals on Saturday, along with 11 silver and 15 bronze medals, according to results posted on the SEA Games website. Gold medalists
