Ateneo rules men's, women's 1st round of UAAP football

The Ateneo de Manila University's men and women' football squads are proving to be this season's teams to beat in Season 70 of the United Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) as they finished their first-round campaign on top of the standings on Sunday at the Ateneo campus.
