Bren, Echo punch tickets to MPL PH Season 11 playoffs

Bren Esports and Echo Philippines have officially clinched their playoff spots to close out Week 6 of the regular season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 11.

Bren remained atop the team standings with a 9-2 win-loss card, though the team didn't go perfect in the previous week.

After pulling off a reverse sweep against Nexplay EVOS on Friday, Bren found itself on the losing end in its following match. They suffered a stunning 2-1 loss to bottom team TNC Pro Team on Sunday, snapping its record nine-game winning streak. Still, Bren's slate was enough to seal its spot in the playoffs.

Joining Bren as the early playoff contenders is M4 World Champion Echo.

The Orcas took care of their sole assignment for the week, sweeping sixth place Onic Philippines, 2-0, to solidify their hold of the second spot at 8-2 behind league-leading Bren.

Reigning MPL titlist Blacklist International climbed up to third spot with a 6-4 card while RSG Slate Philippines is at fourth.
