Team Philippines in 2025 international tournaments

After a historic year for Philippine sports in 2024 following gymnasts Carlos Yulo's two gold medals and bronze medals of boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas in the Paris Olympics, Philippine athletes are set for another year of international competitions.

January 2025:

• Lacrosse: Philippine Women's Lacrosse Team - Bronze, 2025 Asia-Pacific Women’s Lacrosse Championship (Queensland, Australia)

• Cycling: Simon Servillon - Champion, 2025 Singapore Open Enduro (Bukit Timah, Singapore)

• Chess: Nika Juris Nicolas - gold (women's), gold (1600-1699 rating category); silver (overall) - Prague Open 2025 (under 2000 rating) 23rd International Chess Festival in Czech Republic

• Pickleball: Anna Clarice Patrimonio - gold (women's singles open); bronze (mixed doubles open), 2025 World Pickleball Championship (Hoiana, Vietnam)

• Tennis: Tennielle Madis and Vlada Guryleva - champion, girls doubles, 3rd UAE ITF Junior (ITF J100 Dubai) 

• Bowling: Samuel Matias and Kim Ian Chi - bronze, TPB10 men's doubles, 2025 International Bowling Federation (IBF) Para World Championships (Hong Kong)
