The Malditas conceded a goal in each half, in the 29th and 58th minutes of the game.
The home side dominated possession, keeping goalie Maria Dela Cruz busy throughout most of the match. Meanwhile, offense was clearly lacking for the visitors, as they struggled to finish passes.
Still, it was an improvement from their September 14 match in the AFF Women's Championship against this same side. They lost that outing 5-1, and were down 3-0 at the break.
With Indonesia having pulled out of the tourney, the ladies will need a big win against Vietnam on Friday, to finish in the top two of their group and advance to the semifinals. - AMD, GMA News
