With the November draw against India as their last match, the Philippine national men's football team stayed at 127 in the January update of the FIFA world rankings.
Having played no games since their 1-1 tie against India last November 15, the Azkals stayed pat, remaining at 17th in Asia, first in Southeast Asia, though neighbor Myanmar climbed up one spot to 129.

Uncertainty though hovers around the Azkals, due to the recent departure of coach Michael Weiss. No replacement has been named yet, and the longer the process takes, the less time the team will have to prepare for the AFC Challenge Cup in May.
