Myanmar-Malaysia post-match presscon canceled due to venue shortcomings
The post-game press conference for the men's football teams from Myanmar and Malaysia on Monday was cancelled due to a lack of lighting in the unfinished press area and other circumstances.
According to a tweet by GMA News reporter Dano Tingcungco, the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) apologized for the "miscommunication" and said that the press conference was canceled due to lack of lighting in the presscon area in the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Some representatives of PHISGOC approached us earlier and apologized for what they called miscommunication; they said the press conference was cancelled because the designated area lacked lights and because the athletes wanted to go straight to hotel post-match @gmanews

Prior to the cancellation, members of the press saw a press area that was far from done.
Nightfall at the press conference area. Now waiting press have 1 working ventilation unlike earlier where there was absolutely none. One floodlight providing lighting inside, still may not be enough light for tonight’s presscon @gmanews pic.twitter.com/5QxTmHVVMc
