Ceres opens 2020 AFC Cup campaign with 4-0 victory over Svay Rieng

Ceres Negros FC drubbed Cambodia's Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, 4-0, to open their 2020 AFC Cup campaign with a win on Tuesday at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Bienvenido Marañon Morejon made two goals in the second half, at the 55' mark and at 70', to deliver the win for the Busmen.

Takashi Odawara made the first goal for Ceres at the 12' mark, while Joshua Grommen followed with his own after two minutes to spark Ceres' dominant run, ending the half at 2-0.

With the win, Ceres now sits at the top of the standings of the AFC Cup, and will try to continue their streak against Vietnam's Than Quang Ninh FC on February 25. —Justin Kenneth Carandang/MGP, GMA News
