Neil Etheridge 'feeling stronger' as he recovers from COVID-19
Philippine Azkals' Neil Etheridge said he is "feeling stronger" as he recovers from the coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19).
In an update he posted on his Instagram stories, Thursday, Etheridge shared an update on his condition and expressed his gratitude to his well-wishers.
"I will put a more detailed message out in due course but I just wanted to let everyone know I'm slowly on the mend," said the goalkeeper, who is currently hospitalized.
"I'm so overcome with feelings of thanks that I don't even know where to start," he added. "All I can say for the time being is... thank you."

Birmingham City FC, Etheridge's club in England, announced on Wednesday that the goalkeeper has contracted the coronavirus.
He was supposed to play for the Azkals in the joint Asian and World Cup Qualifiers last month but was dropped due to injury.
