Naturalized footballer Bienvenido Marañon proudly shows Philippine passport
After completing his naturalization bid last July, football star Bienvenido Marañon has secured his Philippine passport to finally be able to suit up for the Philippine Azkals.
"Where dreams come true. Thanks to everyone involved in this process," said the Spanish-born right winger in a Twitter post last Wednesday.
"I will work hard to make you proud to have me. Enjoy the present. Maraming salamat."

Marañon has been playing for United City FC in the Philippines Football League (PFL) since 2015 and is expected to play for the national team in the 2020 AFF Suzuki Cup this December in Singapore.
He started his naturalization process alongside Gilas Pilipinas big man Angelo Kouame.
