Azkals fall short vs Indonesia in Stephan Schrock's final game

Indonesia spoiled the final game of Philippine national men's football team captain Stephan Schrock as the Azkals fell short against Indonesia, 2-1, to wrap their campaign in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup.

Indonesia opened the scoring at the 20th minute after a goal from Dendy Sulistyawan. A Marselino Ferdinan goal at the 42' mark doubled the lead for Indonesia, 2-0.

Sebastian Rasmussen gave some glimmer of hope for the Azkals as he scored off a cross from Schrock, who is in his 57th cap for the Azkals, but the Indonesians prevailed in the end.

With the loss, the Azkals ended their campaign with a win and three losses.

Thailand and Indonesia from Group A will advance to the knockout semis of the tournament.
