FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup in the Philippines: What you need to know
The inaugural FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup will take place from November 21 to December 7, with the Philippines serving as host.
A total of 16 teams will compete for the tournament’s first-ever championship trophy.
Here are the four groups of the tournament:
Group A

Group B
- Spain
- Thailand
- Colombia
- Canada
Group C
- Portugal
- Tanzania
- Japan
- New Zealand
Group D
- Brazil
- Iran
- Italy
- Panama
The top two teams of each group will then advance to the knockout stage.

Mascot
The name of the mascot is “Diwa,” inspired by the diwata of Philippine folklore.
