Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Brazil form semis cast of FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup

Powerhouse teams Argentina, Spain, Portugal, and Brazil have advanced to the semifinals of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup.

In the quarterfinals last Monday at the Philsports Arena, Argentina defeated Colombia, 4–1, while Spain dismantled Morocco, 6–1.

On Tuesday, Portugal dominated Italy, 7–2, and Brazil cruised past Japan, 6–1.

Argentina and Portugal will face off in the semifinals, while Spain will take on Brazil on Friday night.

The finals and third-place match will be played on Sunday as the Philippines concludes its hosting of the inaugural event.
