Filipinas at the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup: Schedule and Lineup
The Philippine national women’s football team, the Filipinas, is set to compete in the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup in Australia.
In the 2022 edition held in India, the Philippines reached the semifinals and secured a historic berth in the FIFA Women’s World Cup — marking the country’s first-ever appearance in the prestigious tournament.
This year, the Filipinas aim to clinch another World Cup spot, as the Asian Cup also serves as a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Philippines has been drawn into Group A alongside host Australia, South Korea — which eliminated the Filipinas in the 2022 semifinals — and Iran.
Only the top two teams from each of the three groups will advance to the knockout stage, along with the two best third-place finishers.
