Team Philippines joined the Parade of Nations at the 2026 Asian Games opening ceremony on Saturday in Japan.

Olympic boxing medalist Aira Villegas and weightlifter Albert Ian delos Santos led the Philippine delegation as flag bearers.

The Philippines has more than 400 athletes vying for medals, hoping to surpass its four-gold haul from the previous edition in Hangzhou in 2023.
