Amanda Anisimova withdraws from Singapore Tennis Open due to injury

American Amanda Anisimova has withdrawn from the Singapore Tennis Open.

According to a WTA document, Anisimova withdrew due to a wrist injury.

Indonesia’s Janice Tjen also withdrew from the WTA 500 event due to a wrist injury.

Anisimova has been replaced by Talia Gibson.

Mirra Andreeva remains the top seed, while Filipina Alex Eala becomes the highest seed in the bottom half of the draw.

Eala, who earned a first round byem will face the winner of the match between Tatiana Prozorova and Sofia Costoulas in the Round of 16.
