Dottie Ardina improved in the second round with an even par 72 but she was still three off the pace as Malaysian Aretha Pan sizzled with a six-under-par 66 in the Kuala Lumpur Amateur Open 2012 at the Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam (KPGA) in Malaysia late Wednesday.                 The 18-year-old Ardina of the ICTSI golf team carried a total of 146 in 36 holes to lead four other Philippine bets.  Pan though was on pole position with a 143,followed by the 145 after a one-over-par 73 turned in by Isza Fariza Ismail of Selangor.                 Kelly Tan, a golf scholar in the Pendleton School at IMG Academies, later joined Ardina at third place.  First round leader Nur Durriyah Damian, a local bet, slipped to fifth spot with a 76 for 147 and National Am champion Lovelyn Guioguio was sixth with 74-149.                 Princess Superal, the newest recruit of ICTSI, was tied ninth with 75-151 while a shot further back was Jayvie Agojo with a 75-152.   Felicia Paulina Medalla was the last Filipina in the standing with an 82 for 151 in the 54-hole event which serves as a prelude to the Queen Sirikit Cup in Singapore in April. - AMD, GMA News
