Jennifer Rosales slowed down with a decent one-over-par 73 to end up with a 143 total and stay eight shots behind the Chinese pair and joint leaders Shan Shan-Feng and Li Ying-Ye in the second round of the World Ladies Championship in Haikou, China.

Unlike in the first round wher she fired a 70, built around four birdies as against two bogeys, Rosales had a modest two-birdie, three-bogey stint at the Mission Hills with still one round left in the 54-hole, $600,000-tournament.
The two-time LPGA winner made the turn with a 39 with bogeys on Nos. 2 and 5 to wash out the birdie on No. 4. She gained a stroke on the 12th but lost it on the 16th coming home for an even 34.
Feng and Ye, meanwhile, thrilled the hometown crowd as they lead in both the professional individual and professional team events. Feng (69) and Ye (67) sit atop the leader board on 135s.  As a team, they have a 270, eight ahead from Thailand.

Filipino amateur Dottie Ardina dropped to an 80 for 153. With Rosales' 143, the Philippine bets tallied 296 for joint 12th place with Scotland. — Adrian Flores/JVP, GMA News
