Returning Rosales four back in ADT's season-opening event
Come-backing Gerald Rosales made the most out of a beautiful day scoring a three-under-par 69 to lay four shots behind from local bet R. Nachimuthu and Singapore's Mardan Mamat at midpoint of the US$60,000 PGM-CCM-Impian Masters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Rosales, who returned to regular action after recovering from an injury last year, was on joint fifth place alongside Malaysian S. Siva Chandran (67) with 137s. Nachimuthu (69) and Mamat (67) were atop the leader board with identical 133s. Englishman Neil Reilly shot a consecutive 67 for solo third with 134. Dodge Kemmer of the United States followed with a 135 after a 68 at the Impian Golf and Country Club in the Asian Development Tour's (ADT) season-opener. Jay Bayron accounted for a 70 to end up on 138 with seven others in the ADT, which is the developmental league of the cash-rich Asian Tour. Artemio Murakami also had a splendid game of four-under-par 68 for 140, good for a share of 20th spot. At 142s and at 35th place were Elmer Salvador (71-71) and Antonio Lascuna (71-71). Filipinos who did not make the cut were Carl Ocampo-Santos (73-144) and Michael Bibat (71-146). — Adrian Flores/JVP, GMA News
