Golf: Lascuna looks to keep rolling at Singha Esan open
Thailand - Antonio Lascuna hopes to continue his winning streak in the ASEAN PGA Tour as he headlines the Philippine contingent in the season-opening Singha Esan Open at the Singha Park Golf Club, beginning February 14. Also in the field is Thai Wisut Artjanawat, the ASEAN PGA's top man in 2011. Paradorn Srichaphan, a former tennis player who hails from Khon Kaen province, accepted an invite to participate as an amateur. "After retiring from tennis, I think I can be competitive in another sport and I have chosen golf," said the 33-year-old former World Number Nine before his tournament debut in January. The ASEAN PGA Tour will stage a record 12 tournaments worth more than US$1 million in 2013 with the added incentive of OneAsia cards going to the top five finishers on the Order of Merit. After the Esan Open, the tour will stage the following: Singha Pattaya Open, Luang Prabang Laos Open, PGM-ASEAN A'Formosa Masters, Palembang Musi Championship, PGM-ASEAN Penang Classic, Singha Hua Hin Masters, Bali International Pro Am, Singha Chiang Mai Open, PGM-ASEAN Negeri Sembilan Masters, Gowa Classic, and Sabah Masters. - AMD, GMA News
