Angelo Que of the Philippines fired a four-under-par 68, his best output so far, to improve on his standing after the third round of the NZ PGA Championship held at the Hills Golf Club in Queenstown, New Zealand on Saturday. Que put on board a 71 and 72 in the previous rounds to safely make it through the cut-off.  He stood on a five-under-par 211 total, 10 strokes behind the New South Welshman Rohan Blizard's 201, after a hot six-under-par 66.      The former Philippine Open champion and three-time Asian Tour title holder struggled early, dropping four shots on a double bogey on the sixth plus bogeys on the fourth and ninth holes that negated birdies on the first and fifth.        However, the 34-year-old star then rose up to the challenge, canning birdie after birdie that included two straight on numbers 11 and 12 and a string of four from the 15th to the 18th that gave him that 68 and a share of 31st place.      The fancy finish will surely boost his confidence to finish in the top 20 and earn more bucks in the four-day event which stakes a prize money of NZD$ 555,000 and another NZ$ 50,000 in the pro-am side competition.      The Filipino par buster is one of only six foreigners to enter the weekend rounds.      Blizard has been great at the Hills with a 67 and 68, to be on 15-under-par 201.  If he succeeds, he will claim his second PGA Tour of Australasia title, of which this event is part of.      “I don’t think I’ve ever led going into the final round so that will be a first this week,” said Blizard, who won the 2011 West Australian Open Championship.      Aussie Michael Hendy, the defending champion, carded a 69 for 202 followed by Scott Strange (69-203) and Leigh Deagan (68-204).  Chinese Li Hao-tong (66) and local bet Gareth Paddington (70) were tied on 205s.      The NZPGA, first staged in 1920, is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the European Tour.  Pros will play for the individual crown in the first four days.      A unique format then ensues wherein those who made the cut will be paired with amateurs or celebrities to form a pro-am squad which will be played over an additional two days. - AMD, GMA News
