Princess Superal of the ICTSI team flashed another in-form round of shot-making to score a four-under-par 68, staying afloat for the overall title against a surging Thai Sherman Santiwiwatthanaphong in the 23rd Thailand Ladies Open Golf Championship in Thailand.

It was a nice follow up to Superal's six-under-par 66 on opening day for a two-day total of 134. Sherman leads the way with 128 after rounds of 63 and 65. Two strokes adrift were Thais Supamas Sangchan (67-66) and Ornicha Konsunthea (66-67) on 133s.

"I've been playing great for two two days now.  I need one more push to get to the top," said Superal, who is priming up for her title defense in the Montecillo Cup at the Orchard Golf on April 2 to 5.

Dottie Ardina strung together 71 and 67 for 138 at the relatively easy course of the  Bangsai Golf Club.  She is aiming for consecutive victories after she won the DHL Amatuer tournament last week at Canlubang.

Ardina's two-day aggregate netted her the crown in the Flight A division.  She defeated Malaysians Michelle Koh (72-139) and Kelly Tan (74-142).

Sarah Ababa (73-146) occupied 18th while Sofia Chabon (74-151) and Abby Arevalo (78-156) were on tied 27th and 39th, respectively. - AMD, GMA News
