V-League: Cagayan Valley continues dominant run, squashes FEU

The Cagayan Valley Rising Suns continued to romp through the Shakey's V-League Open Conference, improving to 5-0 in the standings after a 25-16 25-17 25-22 sweep of the FEU Lady Tamaraws, Friday at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

Cagayan improved to two games clear of the 3-0 Philippine Army squad, while the FEU Lady Tamaraws stayed winless after four outings, to sink to the bottom of the standings.

Kannika Thipachot led all scorers with 14 markers, 13 off spikes. She drew ample support from Aizo Maizo (11 points) and Maria Angeli Tabaquero (10 points, all off spikes).

Mary Joy Palma provided nine points for FEU. - GMA News
