V-League: PNP drops FEU in four sets

In a battle of two winless squads, the Philippine National Police were able to notch their first victory of the tourney, while FEU continued to linger at the bottom of the standings.
PNP suffered a slight hiccup in the third set, but recovered to take a 25-20 25-14 20-25 25-19 win over FEU, Tuesday at the FilOil Flying V Arena, in the Shakey's V-League 10th Season Open Conference.
PNP moved up to 1-5, tying the Philippine Navy, while FEU remains the sole squad without a win at 0-6.
The two-woman game of Sangmuang Patcharee and Janine Marciano was enough to give PNP the win, as they combined for 44 points, 41 off of spikes. Frances Molina added 14 points.
FEU got 19 markers from Mary Palma, while Bernadeth Pons scored 12. - AMD, GMA News
