SEA Games: Wushu duo and rower pick up bronze medals
The Philippines added two more bronze medals to their hauls on Tuesday, thanks to wins in wushu and canoeing, as part of the on-going 27th SEA Games.
In the women's wushu duilian contest, held at the Wunna Theikdi Indoor Stadium, the pair of Kariza Kris Chan and Nastasha Enriquez got bronze with a score of 9.65. Brunei edged them with a 9.67 result, followed by Singapore with a 9.66 tally.
Also on Tuesday, Hermie Macaranas settled for third place in the men's C1 1000m canoeing contest, which took place at the Ngalike Dam. Myanmar's Win Htike captured first, while Spensstuber Mehue of Indonesia was second.
