The Philippine sepak takraw squad finished with a bronze medal on Sunday, officially ending the country’s participation in the 27th Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar.

The trio of Emmanuel Escote, Jason Huerte, and Rheyjey Ortouste bagged the bronze in the doubles regu event.

With the result, the Philippines finished the 27th SEA Games with an output of 29 golds, 33 silvers, and 38 bronze medals for seventh place overall, the worst finish since the country first participated in 1977. - Reuben Terrado, SPIN
