Jean Claude Saclag gave Team Philippines its second silver in the 2014 Asian Games after falling to China's Kong Hongxing, 2-0, in the men's Sanda -60kg finals in Incheon, South Korea.

Celebrating his 20th birthday, the Kalinga native failed to build up much momentum against the more seasoned Chinese champion.

Saclag became the third Filipino wushu artist to medal in the competition, following in the footsteps of Daniel Parantac, who won a silver in the men's Taijiquian event, and Francisco Solis, who won a bronze in the men's Sanda -56 kg.

Those remain the only medals for the Philippines in the Asian Games so far. — JST, GMA News
