Pinoy MMA fighter Eugene Toquero pounds Indonesian foe to submission in ONE Valor of Champions

Be it standing up or on the ground, Filipino mixed martial arts fighter Eugene Toquero proved too much to handle for Brianata Rosadhi of Indonesia as he pounded the latter to submission in ONE Championship Valor of Champions at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Toquero, 34, showcased his superior ground skills by throwing the game yet overmatched Rosadhi to the mat in the opening seconds of round one.

Rosadhi escaped Toquero's rear naked choke attempt, only to absorb punches and elbows to the face to force referee Joey Lepiten to step in and stop the fight at the 3:41 mark of the first round.

The win improved Toquero's record to 7-1 while Rosadhi fell to 1-2. - RAF, GMA News
