Two more silver medals were added to the Philippines' haul in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games courtesy of fencing and table tennis.
Harlene Raguin reached the finals of the women's epee, where she fell to Vietnam's Thran Ti Len. Fencing was also the source of the country's first medal, also a silver, on Wednesday courtesy of Justine Tinio.
Veteran Richard Gonzales bagged the day's other silver for the Philippines. The 44-year-old sealed his place in the finals of the men's singles competition with a come-from-behind win against Singapore's Clarence Chew Zhe Yu. But he fell short against another Singaporean, Gao Ning, in the gold medal match.
Nathan Perez, meanwhile, added to the Philippine tally with a bronze medal in the men's individual foil.
The Philippines currently has three silvers and one bronze medal in the biennial competition. —JST, GMA News
