Pauline Lopez of the Philippines on Sunday advanced to the semifinal round of the Asian Taekwondo Olympic qualifying tournament after beating Malaysia's Nurul Farah Alisa Roslan in the -47 kilogram division. 
 
Lopez will be facing Thailand's Phannapa Harnsujin in the semifinal. 
 
A win against the Thai would book her a ticket to the Rio Olympics and join early qualified Kirstie Alora. — APG, GMA News
