After a few exchanges of strikes from both fighters in the opening seconds, Kelly unleashed a right straight, left hook followed by a head kick that dropped the Cambodian fighter face first to the canvas.

Kelly didn't need to follow up on his unconscious foe as the referee immediately stopped the contest at the 0:21 mark of round one.

The highlight reel knockout improved Kelly's record to 10-4 while Meul fell to 6-1.

Torres vs Osenio

Also on the preliminary, Filipina atomweight prospect Jomary Torres sent out a chilling warning to her division following a vicious knockout victory over Team Lakay's April Osenio.

Following a failed armbar attempt by Osenio, Torres then lifted her fellow Filipina then slammed her senseless to the mat.

A few more punches to the head prompted the referee to halt the fight at the 0:40 mark of round one.
