Belingon batters Leone in main event of ‘ONE: Heroes of Honor’
MANILA - Kevin Belingon of Baguio City's Team Lakay declared himself the undeniable challenger for the ONE bantamweight title following his dominant victory over Andrew Leone in the main event of "ONE: Heroes of Honor" Friday night at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
It was a typical explosive start from Belingon as he mauled Leone on the ground after the latter's failed takedown attempt.
Halfway through the opening round, a cut was open on top of Leone's left eye due to Belingon's hard strikes.

Leone was more wary the following round, seemingly baffled how to blunt Belingon's attacks.
A spinning side kick to the body from Belingon sent Leone flying halfway across the ring, after which he followed up with thunderous blows that prompted the referee to halt the contest at the 1:27 mark of round two.
It was Belingon's fifth consecutive win against top notch competition, improving his record to 18-5 while Leone dropped to 8-4. — DVM, GMA News
