MACAU - Edward Kelly of Baguio City's Team Lakay came up short following a second round stoppage defeat against former ONE featherweight champion Narantungalag Jadambaa during Saturday night's undercard of "ONE: Pinnacle of Power"  in Macau's Studio City Event Center.

It was a cautious start from both fighters as they opened the round trying to gauge each other out. Jadambaa eventually took the fight to the ground where he scored points via ground-and-pound.

Jadambaa kept the fight on the mat in round two and even looked to secure a submission. Kelly, on the other hand, had thrown kicks and punches at the former champ but missed more of than half of his shots.

With ten seconds left on the clock, Jadambaa took Kelly's back on the ground and grinded away at the defenseless Filipino, prompting the referee to stop the contest at the 4:58 mark.

The win improved Jadambaa's record to 13-5 while Kelly dropped to 10-5. — DVM, GMA News
