Young phenom Joshua Pacio of Baguio City's Team Lakay will get another crack at the ONE Strawweight World title when he takes on Yoshitaka Naito of Japan in the main event of 'ONE: Conquest of Heroes' on September 22 at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Pacio, 22, is on a three-fight winning streak and is coming off a highly impressive submission victory over previously unbeaten Thai prospect Pongsiri Mitsatit last month at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Pacio (12-2) and Naito (13-1) first met inside the cage in 2016 when the Japanese defeated Pacio in a fight that the Filipino dominated in the early going. One mistake was all it took for Naito to turn the tide and get the win by rear naked choke in round three.

Two years and five contests later, an improved version of Pacio plans to bring the reigning champion to deep waters when they lock horns for the second time. — BAP, GMA News
