Former ONE lightweight world champion Eduard Folayang feels ready for whatever Amir Khan would bring to the table when they meet inside the cage.

The Baguio native is set to battle the Singaporean knockout artist for the vacant ONE lightweight title in the co-main event of ONE: Conquest of Champions on November 23 at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.

With a wealth of experience under his belt as a prizefighter for eleven years, the Filipino striker says he prepared for anything and everything that Khan might try inside the cage.

"Training camp was good, our preparation went really well. We are getting ready for all possible game plans against me including takedowns and even striking," said Folayang.

"We've had adjustments in training for this camp. He can use the same game plan with Honorio Banario, so we have to be very careful going to the ground."

Khan, mostly known as a striker, is coming off a first round submission victory over Folayang's teammate Honorio Banario this past September.

The young contender proved in his last outing that he's capable of finishing a contest on his feet or on the mat.

Folayang, however, predicts that Khan won't be capable of showing something he's never seen before.

"This bout either goes to striking or on the ground. I've fought similar athletes in my experience. His bread and butter is still striking so I expect the bout to go that way," Folayang quipped.

In August, Folayang flew to the United States in an attempt to bolster the weapons in his arsenal by training at the world renowned Jackson Wink MMA.

While he won't fully disclose the new techniques he'd learned by training overseas, Folayang vows that the move was beneficial for his growth as a martial artist.

"I've learned many things from training in the USA. At Jackson Wink, I've sparred with plenty of strikers that enhanced my confidence. It boosted my self-belief when I went there."
