The 26-year-old Miado displayed a striking clinic as he unloaded kicks and punches that landed both on top and on the body of the visiting foe.
Peng, a China wrestling silver medalist, tried to take the fight to the mat but was unsuccessful on his every attempt as Miado showed an improved takedown defense.
A barrage of strikes wobbled the Chinese in round two. Smelling blood, Miado unleashed a right uppercut that landed clean on Peng's jaw.
Down on the mat and clearly unable to defend himself form Miado's ground and pound, the referee prompted to end the contest at the 0:53 mark of round two.
The impressive performance improved Miado's record to 8-3 while Peng fell to 6-5. — BAP, GMA News
