Filipino strawweight MMA fighter Robin Catalan registered a highlight-reel knockout to his resume following a second-round stoppage over Olympic wrestler Gustavo Balart Friday night at ONE: Masters of Fate.

Both fighters went at it from the opening stanza throwing hard kicks and punches with bad intent.

Neither chose to back down as Catalan was able to nullify Balart's takedown attempts.

A perfectly timed leg kick on top caught the visiting foe on the temple which immediately dropped him unconscious.

Senseless and unable to defend himself, the referee waved the contest at the 4:43 mark of round two.

The win improved Catalan's record to 10-6 while Balart fell to 8-4. — BAP, GMA News
