Team PHL bags 5 golds, 1 silver in Standard Dance

Dancesport added five more gold medals and one silver in the Philippines' medal haul in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Royce Hotel in Clark, Pampanga Sunday.

The tandem of Sean Aranar and Ana Nualla dominated the Open Standard category after tallying 151.35 for gold.

Aranar and Nualla then ruled the Single Dance Tango and Single Dance Viennese waltz after finishing 30.15 and 30.10, respectively.

Meanwhile, the tandem of Mark Jayson Gayon and Mary Joy Renigen struck gold in the Single Dance Waltz and Single Dance Foxtrot after scoring 29.95 and 30.20, respectively.

Gayon and Renigen then bagged silver in the Standard Quickstep after garnering 29.40.
